Teeny Tiny Tacos

On Saturday I made some good tacos for dinner.

When I was cooking the meat, it splattered on me and it stung my arm. This is me pouring salsa on the meat.

Even though the tacos in the cookbook are hard shell I made mine soft tacos because I like soft tacos better.

This is the inside of the taco.

I had a good experience making some good, yummy tacos.

Light-as-a-Feather Pancakes

This is a recipe I tried out on Sunday. I messed up only once but then I fixed it. I put in one tablespoon of baking powder instead of one teaspoon. I scooped it out.

Aubrey liked helping me mix up the dry ingredients.

This is the batter of the pancakes. It has little chocolate chips in it.

This is a bag of batter that is being squeezed out. It was easier to pour it out of a cup.

It was fun flipping over the pancakes. They were funny shapes.

These pancakes tasted like the ones we had on our vacation to New York City.

My Goal

My goal is to cook everything out of my cookbook in one year. My mom told me about the movie called "Julia and Julia". It is about a woman who cooked everything out of a famous cookbook and wrote a blog while she did it. I am really exited to learn how to cook everything out of my cookbook this year.
